An optimistic attitude can reduce the risk of heart attack or even death, according to a new study.

Study conducted several researchers from the University of Pittsburgh found that, happy people and have expectations tend to be in better condition than those who go through life with a more grim view.

Studies that have tracked more than 97,000 American women who had been menopausal for more than eight years, the largest study to date on the impact of positive thinking on health.

All the women who participated in the study completed the survey upon entering the study to assess their level of optimism and cynicism, and hostility levels in general.

After keeping track of them for eight years, compared with pessimists, the optimist has a risk of 9 percent lower heart attack and 14 percent lower against the possibility of death.

“Most evidence shows that the level of higher negativity and constant danger to health,” says Dr Hilary A Tindle, specialist in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and lead author of the study report.

Although the research team said that it is unclear why optimistic people are healthier, the results of these studies show that optimistic people have a smaller chance to be depressed and took it out on a cigarette. At the same time, optimistic person who looks younger and have higher education levels and greater revenue.
